Legalizing it would be good. Make some tax money off of it.
At least decriminalize it.

Being that I live in Northern California and I have a medical card which I go in twice a year to the doctor to update. The problem is not with those of us who do it legally where it can be controlled so to speak but with the mexicans that come in and farm illegally with mass weapons for mass distribution. I also do not want the government to control something else so for me I want to know how they are going to do this where it is in the control of you and me and not the government for their doing and we don’t mind paying the taxes

Since many of us are not from Cali can you tell us how the Medical Marijuana thing works…..I agree about the gov control but to keep just anybody from growing it and selling it to kids it has to be managed somehow. And we know from the Great Tobacco companies it can’t be managed by the growers. It needs to be ran like a good business that isn’t connected to pharmecuticals that believes that kids under 21 shouldn’t smoke it and you shouldn’t smoke and drive :) Grow your own should be legal…..

No, No, No:
That will just be something else to worry about. “Head Lines 3 killed in two car accident. Marijuana found in car”. The driver tested positive for Marijuana use. Legal or not someone will die. As of now the main concern is impaired driving from alcohol so I guess we can add this to the list.

Yes Yes Yes
With marijuana users no longer being jailed for possession lots of room would be opened up in our already overcrowded prison system for more hardened offenders such as: murderers, rapists, child molesters and other violent criminals.
The Judicial system would no longer be burdened by having to trial cases involving marijuana.
The police will be able to allocate more resources to solving more violent crimes.
Since marijuana could be purchased at any drug store after being legalized, violent crimes such as: robbery, drug warfare, contamination of drugs by other substances such as: LSD, PCP and Cocaine could quickly become a thing of the past.
